They are crude, selfish, ignorant, talent-free braggarts who hold a position in the world simply because they are willing to hurt people to get what they want. But that way of operating is dying, however slowly. It's being snuffed out by the evolution of our species into more communal, intelligent, thoughtful, skilled and collaborative ways of being.
How do you go about forging ahead without these people you trusted and revered?
Why are all these GOP reps so blatantly and blithely turning away from the facts that are staring everyone right in the face?
I'm looking forward to being a student again.
I sit for a moment in the sun, breathing its warmth into the corners of my lungs. It was a good, hard three hours, and I'm ecstatic, filthy and exhausted. It's planting season, and the next six months hold mysteries I haven't even contemplated. But what will come will be managed.
